Week 1, Day 2

Today was a big day as our schedule was completely filled with very important meetings. The team was doing some last minute preparations before heading in.

When the IBM SCC team arrived at the City Office, there was another pleasant surprise as there was a small team of city officials & staff who greeted us and handed each of us a beautiful bouquet of flowers. A big room with meeting tables was reserved for the SCC team. This room was temporarily renamed as IBM Smarter Cities Challenge Room :-)  There were even directional signs posted throughout the office building in case we got lost which was very thoughtful.

After a short round of introductions with the city's transportation officials, we quickly got down to the business at hand. Key senior city leaders provided a high level overview of city's incredibly rapid growth history along with its future vision.
